1. Increase Trip Count

The first requirement to level up is to complete a minimum of 10 trips as a host or three reservations that equal out to a minimum of 100 nights. The easiest way to achieve this milestone is get a first great review. As you start to accumulate more 5 star reviews, this will create a compound effect where more prospective guests will see your good reviews and be more inclined to book with you as a result. 2. Great Response Rate

Second you must maintain a 90% or higher response rate between your guests. Airbnb wants to know that you are a responsive host, and that if a guest or potential guest reaches out, you have a track record that shows you are dependable. A response rate is determined by the percentage of new inquiries and reservation requests you respond to within a 24 hour window for the last year. The more reliable of a communicator you are the better.

3. Low Cancellation Rate

Next, to be eligible you must maintain a cancellation rate of 1% or less, meaning you cancel 1 out of every 100 reservations booked to you. This number does not include reservations cancelled that are covered under AirBnb’s Extenuating Circumstances policy. This communicates to Airbnb that you are an accommodating host, and that you’re prepared for the reservations you commit to. If a guest cancels their reservation that does not affect your rate. This is also a good example of why it’s important to vet your guests prior to.

4. Great Guest Reviews

Last but not least, you must have an average guest rating of 4.8 or higher from the past year of reviews. More specifically a year is quantified by when the guest left the review not necessarily the time they stayed. This requirement is really a culmination of doing the last few things well. The key here is simply to: be hospitable, be excellent, be responsive, and be accommodating. If you’re kind to your guests, and provide the greatest experience possible, then the great reviews will come rolling in.
